Description
In this course, students will meet 5th Grade Common Core Standards while promoting a love of learning. Students analyze texts, build vocabulary, and write for different purposes. Collaborative multimedia projects develop speaking and listening skills. Students will apply skills by creating presentations, book reviews, and critical analyses. They will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Materials Needed:
BOOK: “Wonder,” (hard or soft cover, or Audible is fine)
paper or a notebook, paper for printing worksheets/projects; a folder to keep assignments in; pen or pencil; Book for 2nd semester is pending
