One winter day on a frozen white lake in Minnesota, a fish house appeared to have been vandalized? No…painted. Yes, someone painted cows and trees and fences on the fish house. It was I, E Rydall to friends, Eliry to art clients, and Ms. E to students.
I painted everything I could get my hands on! Including an old Chevy demolition car, the inside of a clothing store, lettering on trucks, signs for the local motel, anything! I went to art school, earned a minor in theatre, and landed a dance company job—an artist with a love of seeing art everywhere was emerging.
Sharing the love of curiosity, exploration, research, and making is vital to me. Every person has a story, ideas, affinities, talents, and skills that can be expressed through the arts. This is where I like to play.
