Description
This project-based 7th-grade Science course will align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and focus on developing students’ scientific inquiry and investigation skills. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, students will explore the interactions of matter and energy, the earth’s history and current systems, and the organization and behavior of living systems. They will learn to ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions based on evidence. Projects will be designed to promote creativity and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems, such as designing a system to reduce human impact on the environment. Through this course, students will develop a deep understanding of the natural world and its complex systems, setting them up for future success in science and beyond.
