I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I am a wife and mother of two grown daughters, one grown son, and one baby granddaughter. I like to grow flowers, take walks, and get together with my family.
For over 20 years, I have been a facilitator. But why not call me a teacher? Because my role is to guide, encourage, and inspire. My learners do the thinking as they search and discover solutions. They collaborate on real-world projects.
What truly sets me apart is my love for technology and my desire to integrate it into the classroom.
Most recently, I have integrated math activities into the virtual world. I am a firm believer that the use of technology can bring academic knowledge to life and prepare my learners for the ever-changing world that lies ahead. I am anxious to facilitate more courses in the virtual world, utilize augmented reality in educational settings, and encourage everyone to become life-long learners.
