Mauricio Ortega
Mr. Mauricio Ortega is an experienced educational leader with over 25 years in K–12 education, guiding schools, educators, and families through the evolving intersection of technology, learning, and student well-being. He has served in key leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer, Director of Educational Technology, High School Assistant Principal, and Middle School Principal.
Mr. Ortega advises school teams on technology integration, data privacy, and media literacy while also facilitating systems-level work that supports teaching, learning, and operational improvement. He has led efforts to help educators and families understand the role of artificial intelligence in education, strengthen digital citizenship, and ensure students engage safely and responsibly with technology.
