Evelyn Van Sloten was born in Canada and moved to Michigan with her husband and daughters in 2000. She has worked with Crossroads Care Center as a counselor, young mom support mentor, and educator for the past 20 years. Today she serves as the Director of Education for the SHARE (Sexual Health and Relationship Education) program.
Evelyn loves working with youth and helping the next generation to develop high standards and convictions for their sexual health. Today’s culture provides ample messaging about sexual freedom and minimizes the outcomes. Information matters. Equipping and engaging this generation with vital information relationships helps them to make informed decisions.
Today, she brings her experience to us from what she sees in and out of the classroom, church and community.
