Description

This project-based high school Spanish 2 course builds on the foundation established in Spanish 1 to further develop students’ language proficiency and cultural competency. Through engaging projects, students will continue to hone their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while exploring more advanced aspects of the Spanish language and culture. Projects might include creating a news report in Spanish, conducting an interview in Spanish, or analyzing a literary work in Spanish. By engaging in these projects, students will continue to develop intercultural communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a deeper understanding of the cultural nuances of the Spanish-speaking world. By the end of the course, students will have gained the skills necessary to communicate effectively in more complex Spanish contexts and the confidence to use their language skills in real-world situations.
