Description

This project-based 7th-grade social studies course aims to explore medieval and early modern world history while aligning with California Social Studies Standards. Through various project-based activities, students will delve into the fascinating world of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, including the geography, culture, and history of Europe, Africa, and Asia during this period. Students will analyze the political, economic, and social systems of medieval and early modern societies and their impact on the world we live in today. Students will use critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills to research, present, and reflect on their learning. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the contributions and legacies of medieval and early modern societies and their relevance to our modern world.
