Description

This project-based 3rd-grade science course will align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and focus on developing students’ scientific inquiry and investigation skills. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, students will explore topics such as the life cycles of plants and animals, the properties of rocks and soils, and the forces and motion of objects. They will learn to ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions based on evidence. Projects will be designed to promote creativity and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems, such as designing a device to harness renewable energy. Through this course, students will develop a deep understanding of the natural world, setting them up for future success in Science and beyond.
