Description

This project-based high school chemistry course is designed to align with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of chemistry. Through inquiry-based activities, students will explore a range of topics, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and acid-base chemistry. The curriculum will also focus on real-world applications of chemistry, allowing students to see the relevance of chemistry in their daily lives. Students will engage in collaborative projects that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. They will also develop their laboratory skills through various virtual experiments and investigations. By the end of the course, students will have a mastery of fundamental chemistry concepts, the ability to apply those concepts to real-world problems, and the skills to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with peers, preparing them for success in college and future careers in the Sciences.
