Description

This project-based high school biology course will align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and focus on the study of living organisms and their interactions with the environment. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, students will explore topics such as genetics, evolution, ecology, and biotechnology. They will learn to ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions based on evidence. Projects will be designed to promote creativity and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems, such as developing a plan to mitigate the impact of invasive species on local ecosystems. Through this course, students will develop a deep understanding of the complex interactions between living organisms and their environment, setting them up for future success in Science and beyond.
