Description

Through a hands-on approach, participants will gain a basic understanding of the 2D game development process and the Unity game engine. This course
will cover various tools offered in the Unity game engine, level design, audio design, basic C# programming, and much more, through the creation of a simple 2D game prototype.

This course is for beginners that want to learn the basics of 2D game development in a fun and creative environment. No prior game development experience is necessary.

Maximum Class Size:  10 (spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis)
Minimum Class Size:  5 (the course will need to be canceled if the minimum number of enrollments is not met)

High School students may earn non A-G credit

Materials Needed:

All participants must have a PC or Mac (laptop or desktop) computer that is fully capable of running the Unity game engine. The Unity game engine must be installed on each learner’s computer prior to the first class.

**Chromebooks and mobile devices, such as phones or tablets are NOT permitted.
