Description

This project-based high school Algebra 2 course is designed to align with Common Core Standards and build upon students’ previous knowledge of algebraic concepts. Throughout the course, students will engage in hands-on, inquiry-based activities that help them develop a deeper understanding of complex algebraic concepts, including functions, polynomials, exponential and logarithmic functions, and trigonometry. The curriculum will focus on real-world applications of algebraic concepts, allowing students to see the relevance of algebra in their daily lives. Students will also engage in collaborative projects that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. By the end of the course, students will have a mastery of algebraic concepts, the ability to apply those concepts to real-world problems, and the skills to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with peers, preparing them for success in college and future careers.
