Description

This project-based high school Algebra 1 course will align with the Common Core Standards and focus on developing students’ algebraic reasoning and problem-solving skills. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, students will deepen their understanding of linear and quadratic functions, systems of equations, and algebraic expressions. They will learn to apply math concepts to real-world problems, using critical thinking and communication skills to work collaboratively with their peers. Projects will be designed to promote creativity and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, such as analyzing trends in data or modeling real-world situations. This course will make students confident and proficient in their algebra skills, setting them up for future success in advanced math and beyond.

Online scientific graphing calculator, ruler, protractor, compass, graph paper, spiral notebook with lined paper or composition book
