High school brings greater freedom—and greater responsibility. Super Skill Mastery is a dynamic 12-week online course that helps students in grades 9–12 build the real-world skills needed for academic success, personal growth, and future readiness.
Meeting twice a week, this course uses a project-based learning model to actively teach and apply 12 essential executive functioning skills that support high school performance and life after graduation:
- Planning – Breaking down complex assignments or goals into manageable steps
- Organization – Managing schedules, materials, and mental space efficiently
- Time Management – Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and reducing stress
- Task Initiation – Overcoming procrastination and starting with confidence
- Working Memory – Keeping track of multiple steps, ideas, or instructions
- Metacognition – Reflecting on learning, habits, and strategies for improvement
- Impulse Control – Making thoughtful choices, even under pressure
- Emotional Control – Managing emotions to stay focused and in control
- Flexibility – Adjusting to new situations or solving unexpected problems
- Focus – Sustaining attention in long or demanding tasks
- Goal-Directed Persistence – Staying motivated through long-term efforts
- Self-Monitoring – Evaluating performance and making real-time adjustments
Students will engage in meaningful, authentic projects—such as designing a personal college or career plan, creating a productivity toolkit, or analyzing decision-making in real-world case studies. Each project reinforces practical skills that support not just academic achievement, but also personal accountability and self-advocacy.
Whether preparing for college, a career, or simply a smoother day-to-day routine, students will leave this course with a stronger sense of control, clarity, and capability.
