I have been in education for 19 years. I have taught 7 years in the traditional classroom and facilitated 12 years at a PBL Charter School. I have taught social studies/history, science, ELA, & math from 4th through 8th grade. My favorite is history, and I always learn something new right alongside my learners. I have always been able to connect with my learners and put a lot of effort into getting to know them. I try my best to make the curriculum fun and engaging. I hope to instill not only a love of history but a love of learning as well.
