Description

This project-based 2nd-grade science course will align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and focus on developing students’ scientific inquiry and investigation skills. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, students will explore topics such as the properties of matter, the weather and climate, and the diversity of life on Earth. They will learn to ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions based on evidence. Projects will be designed to promote creativity and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems, such as designing a structure that can withstand a natural disaster. Through this course, students will develop a deep understanding of the natural world, setting them up for future success in Science and beyond.
