Stress Less: Yoga and Mindfulness for Beginners

Explore the physical poses, breathwork, and meditations of yoga. Students will use a combination of guided and independent practice.
Learners explore the many ‘limbs’ of the ancient practice of yoga. From physical poses, breathwork, and meditation, to yogic history and texts, Learners will look at yoga from all angles and gain a deep appreciation for regular mindfulness practice and complete the course with the building blocks to craft their own. Learners will use a combination of guided independent practice and one weekly live class. They will also keep a journal.
This course satisfies physical education requirements.
