    Tuesdays and Fridays - 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM PT Live, interactive classes are offered twice per week. Learners complete independent work outside of regular class time.

Course Description

Part 1, Discovering Digital Arts
Through personally meaningful projects, students will learn how to create works in photography, image graphics, digital drawing, video, animation, and graphic design. Students will explore digital and media arts together to understand better how to read images, videos, and other creative arts. Lessons will also improve students’ technical skills in various digital art forms. Learners will need access to a camera or a phone camera and the ability to download free/open-source apps.

Part 2, Video Creator Introduction
In this beginning video course, students can develop content for Youtube, design compelling video sequences, and learn to read images and videos. Documentary filmmaking, YouTube techniques, general filmmaking techniques, and other technology skills will be explored based on student interests and skill levels.
