Session One Clubs
Jan 4-March 11 (10 weeks)

M – Minecraft Club – Each session begins with a mini-tutorial on creating a virtual world, building specific objects, moving avatars, and interacting with other learners. Learners will solve challenges, collaborate on real-world issues, and create solutions in the 3D virtual world.
*Materials: Learners will download and use the Minecraft Education Edition on a tablet, laptop, iPad, or desktop computer.  If your child wants to attend, WorldOver needs to set up a Minecraft education account on their behalf.  Please email your child’s name and their CSA email address to info@worldover.org.

T – Digital Arts – Learn the basics of digital art and composition, digital photography, video creation, and how to make a GIF.
*Materials – Learners need a computer or phone with a camera.

W – Chess Club – Playing chess increases thinking skills (problem solving, and logic skills). Join us for a friendly game and occasional competitions.

TH – VR Rec Room – Socialize, play games, and have fun! Each week learners will explore all that the Rec Room has to offer. This includes, but is not limited to: sports, laser tag, racing, quests and more! The Rec Room VR facilitator provides a safe and engaging space in which all learners of various interests are welcome to explore a world beyond reality.  *Please note the VR Rec Room Club requires students to register by Wednesday of each week. Email info@worldover.org to reserve a spot (first come, first serve). Learners must bring their own Oculus Quest 2 headset.

F – Movie Club – End your week with popcorn and a movie. Movie themes include aviation, space, science fiction, and social-emotional connections.

Session Two Clubs
March 21-May 26 (10 weeks)
Clubs for the second session will be announced the week of March 4, and we will base our selections on learner and parent feedback.

Refer a Friend
Your child receives a free punch when you refer a CSA learner to the After-School Program! The punch is equivalent to one free M-TH club.

Simply have your friend purchase a punch pass and enter your child’s name in the “Referred by this Learner” box at checkout. Once the order is processed, we will credit your child’s account.
