Description
In this course, students will apply their literacy skills while working on exciting projects such as the Micronation Project. They will also write and argue out persuasive essays through debate. This class includes collaborative efforts as well as individual learning through real-world projects. Students will analyze literature, develop and articulate arguments, and engage in effective communication through writing, speaking, and listening. By working on projects that require critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, students will apply their language arts skills to real-world situations. This class aims to prepare students to meet the Common Core Standards while also developing essential 21st-century skills.
