Description

This project-based high school Geometry course will align with the Common Core Standards and focus on developing students’ understanding of geometric concepts and their problem-solving skills. Through hands-on, project-based learning experiences, students will deepen their understanding of the properties of geometric shapes, including angles, lines, and polygons. They will learn to apply math concepts to real-world problems, using critical thinking and communication skills to work collaboratively with their peers. Projects will be designed to promote creativity and encourage students to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, such as designing a blueprint for a house or creating a model for a 3D-printed object. Through this course, students will become confident and proficient in their geometry skills, setting them up for future success in advanced math and beyond.
